2009: RSL capture first MLS Cup title

Real Salt Lake capped a storybook run in MLS Cup 2009, going from playoff afterthoughts to MLS champions. After Robbie Findley leveled things at 1-1 following regulation and extra time, MLS Cup MVP Nick Rimando shined in penalty kicks as RSL edged LA, 5-4, at Seattle's Qwest Field.
