Dynamo Charities Cup coming up Sunday
First off, I want to thank you for all your support this season. Your passion is one of the reasons we have the best home record in MLS over the last four seasons, and it is also why I am asking you to join us for the Dynamo Charities Cup on October 11.
For those that don't know the Dynamo Charities Cup is a new Dynamo tradition that will take place every year. A portion of your ticket will go directly to Dynamo Charities to provide resources in education, health, wellness and physical fitness, community involvement, provide well-equipped and updated soccer fields to impoverished areas, raise scholarship funds, and provide opportunities for non-profit groups. We are excited to support these wonderful organizations and give back to the Houston community.
In addition to the charitable aspects of the match, let me tell you about the significance of the game itself. As many of you know, the Dynamo Charities Cup is an international friendly, and this year we will host Mexican club Monterrey for an exciting match between two of the most popular and talented clubs from the region. Our goal is to build the Dynamo Charities Cup into a tradition that gives the Dynamo a chance to face top clubs from around the world. This is not going to develop overnight, so we hope you will be there when the tradition starts on October 11. Your support will help the Dynamo Charities Cup become a major event in the Dynamo calendar for years to come.
