Over the past two years, Stuart Holden has become one of the best attacking players in the United States. He began his MLS career with the Houston Dynamo in 2006 and this season has scored 6 goals, in addition to becoming a regular member of the U.S. national team. Holden and the Dynamo, who open the MLS Cup Playoffs this week against Seattle, are vying for their third championship in four years in 2009.

1. What was the most memorable (non-soccer) memory from your trip to Beijing during the Summer Olympics in 2008?
Chanting "USA, USA", in the tunnel with all of Team USA before walking out into the stadium in opening ceremonies.

2. Do you have any phobias? What?
Snakes!

3. Which one of your Dynamo teammates can you always count on to make you laugh?
Bobby Boswell. It's always easy to laugh at him.

4. What is playing in your iPod these days? What's your favorite genre of music?
Empire State of Mind (Jay-Z) -- I love that song! I like a lot of rap and house music.

5. Assuming that you're dressing up for Halloween, what are you going to be this year?
I'm thinking of being a Hooters girl.

6. What's your all-time favorite Halloween costume?
Last year with Mike Chabala, we were Chip'N'Dales!

7. What's the best practical joke someone has ever played on you?
Kei Kamara wrapped my car in Saran Wrap and put confetti in my air vents!

8. What is one thing most people would be surprised to learn about you?
I speak fluent French.

9. What food can you not live without?
Candy! Haribos!!

10. What is one goal you hope to accomplish in your lifetime?
Finish my college degree.
