Dynamo Pep Band
The Houston Dynamo pep band was formed in March 2006 to bring the "dynamic" dimension of music to Houston Dynamo games and team events. Throughout the inaugural 2006 season, this drum line and brass band has been an integral part of the high energy Dynamo game atmosphere.
Along with the cheering The Texian Army, El Batallón, and all of the Dynamo fans, the Dynamo Band has musically punctuated the excitement of Houston Dynamo Major League Soccer. The Dynamo Band has participated in twenty-six events in 2006, including MLS Cup in Frisco, Texas. Organized and directed by Dr. Aubrey Tucker, the Dynamo Band is comprised of area college students, adult musicians and soccer lovers from all over the greater Houston community. In its Dynamo Band recognition program, Houston Dynamo have awarded scholarships to 17 Dynamo Band men and women from six area colleges and universities this first year.
