Player Development Staff

James Clarkson Dir. of Youth Dev.

The Dynamo Youth Development System is led by James Clarkson (Director of Youth Development).

Prior to joining the Dynamo, James was the South Texas Youth Soccer Association's Director of Coaching for nearly five years. He holds a USSF 'A' and National Youth License, a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma/GK Level 2 and English FA coaching certificates. He is also a national instructor for US Soccer and US Youth Soccer.

He played professionally with the Manawatu AFC in New Zealand during the 1995 season before returning to Wisbech in 1996 to join the Wisbech Town Football Club as the Reserve and Youth Team Coach. He came to the United States in 1997 and joined the Eclipse Soccer Club where he served as the Boys Director of Training.

Dynamo Academy Coaches

Rafael Brazo – U15 Head coach Rafa holds a UEFA A License, USSF National Youth License, a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma/GK Level 2. He is also a STYSA coaching education instructor and an ODP coach. He has a master Degree in English Linguistics and teaches at Seven Lakes High School. He also coaches the girls at Eclipse Soccer club.

John Dewitt - Academy assistant coach He holds a USSF 'A' and National Youth License, a NSCAA Premier Diploma and a USSF National Youth License. He is also a STYSA coaching education instructor and an ODP coach. He is the former head coach of New Mexico University & coaches for Space City Futbol Club.
